The first step for the Data Mining process is selecting the Data Set to be analysed. It can be either customers database, or any other database containing information to be analysed. To start the analysis select the database and a table with the help of Estard Data Miner. The database selecting is simple and easy thanks to a special wizard. The wizard can be started from the text menu (File) or with the help of buttons, available on the corresponding program pages.
The next step is to start the data mining query. The easiest way is to start the "Query Wizard". The query can also be manually formed and started on the "Manual Query Forming" page.
Note: Using Query Wizard is recommended for starting the wor with the program. Manual query forming is recommended for experts because it allows to create Decision Rules and Decision Trees faster than with the use of Query Wizard.
After the analysis the results of the query can be viewed, saved, edited and reported on corresponding program pages. The statistics are displayed in a special dialog.
Now the unearhted data can be used for decision making and searching in databases.
